Membership

Members of the PSVC are some of the Pacific Northwest’s most respected business leaders who each come from a wide range of backgrounds including angel investors, active and retired business executives, and serial entrepreneurs.  In some cases, the knowledge and experience of these members helps assist the invested companies with business strategy, team building, and follow-on fund raising and offers all members access to a wealth of experiences and information.

Benefits of Membership:

  • Investors – Because of our membership requirements, the majority of our members are seasoned and experienced investors. This creates a group where members exchange information and ideas about possible present and future investments.
  • Deal Flow – Because of PSVC’s member history of making investments; and association with incubators, accelerators, industry associations, and other industry groups, PSVC has deal flow that may help a member save time in sourcing investment opportunities.
  • Ongoing education – While nothing beats on-the-job learning, PSVC also organizes monthly speakers focused on sharing valuable information that allows our members to continue to learn and expand their investing expertise.

Membership in the PSVC is limited to 40 members and each member must be an accredited investor with a minimum net worth of $1,000,000 (not including their personal residence) and some history in venture investing.  The screening committee meets monthly to review investment opportunities and determine which companies will make the cut and have the opportunity to present at the monthly member luncheon. The annual membership fee is $700.

By having a smaller, more focused and experienced groups of investors PSVC allows companies the chance to get engaged with focused investors who are investing individually or as a team in some outstanding companies. PSVC itself does not make investment recommendations; members make their own investment decisions, but it does strive to create a forum where members can both evaluate companies and exchange information and ideas about possible investment opportunities.
